Description

Located in the heart of The Movie Colony, La Chureya is a five bedroom, six bathroom Spanish Estate completed in 1934. Since then, four owners have called La Chureya home, including the family noted for building the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and Spanish born Tennis Coach and Professional Jose Higueras.

Four bedrooms are in the main house, with the fifth located in the detached casita. Three of the bedrooms, including the master suite, offer king beds and en suite baths. The other bedroom in the main house has a queen bed and en suite bath. The detached Casita is located on the northwestern end of the property. Featuring a full kitchen, dining area and sitting area, this is a private living space with a queen bed and en suite bath. A private courtyard with chaise lounges provides a quiet outdoor sitting area for those staying in the Casita.

La Chureya also offers a tennis court and in-ground pool, which features a poolside cabana with a refrigerator and icemaker. Set to the southeast and tucked into a small grotto, a custom in-ground tile spa provides exceptional views to the west and mountains beyond.

Note that two of the king beds can be split up into two twin size beds. Please let us know in advance if you wish to separate the king beds so that we may put the appropriate bed linens in prior to your arrival.
