Description
2 bedroom 2 bath bungalow in Canyon Sands, a quiet 36 acre community with immaculate landscaping, 7 heated pools and tennis courts. Free water aerobics classes 3 mornings a week in one of the pools. Community is located at the intersection of E Palm Canyon and Gene Autry in South Palm Springs with beautiful mountain views all around.
The closest pool is about 100 feet beyond the back gate of our patio. Both bedrooms have en suite access to bathrooms. Master bedroom has king bed; second bedroom has queen bed. Updated bathrooms, showers only. In Master bath, the shower has multiple nozzles for a spa experience. House has no walls that touch another unit.
Approximately 1200 square feet indoors plus about 400 square foot patio/garden area with a landscape architect. Large, walled patio area with a Tuscany feel that offers an outdoor dining and living area with a small fire pit for winter mornings/evenings. There's also a gas grill for your outdoor cooking needs.
The kitchen has been tastefully designed with marble and stainless, and a wonderful window looking out onto the patio. This vacation rental condo has 3 TVs and a home stereo system professionally installed in the Living Room. Living room has gas fireplace and vaulted ceilings with new furniture. Tile floors throughout. Dining tables for four, both indoors and outdoors. There's a two car garage with automatic door openers, with access to both the Patio and into the house. Over sized Maytag washer and dryer are also located inside the garage for your convenience.
Central Location, about 10 minutes from downtown Palm Springs and about 20 minutes from El Paseo in Palm Desert, with quick access to all the shopping and dining located along 111. Walking distance to the Backstreet Art District and First Wednesday art walks. Seven Lakes Country Club is also walking distance, with a manicured 18-hole course, available for usage to members of other golf clubs or who have USGA membership. Vons, Trader Joes and Target within a mile.
Canyon Sands occupies 33 acres and is located on the corner of Gene Autry Trail and East Palm Canyon in Palm Springs. This is a fine central location within walking distance of stores and postal service. The community amenities include 7 pool and spa sets, 2 saunas and 6 championship tennis courts. Three of the courts are lighted for night play. Several walkways and paths wind through the development. Sitting areas and landscaped pathways enhance the park-like feel of Canyon Sands.
