The Aluminum House is an exceptional and rare architectural find in the heart of the Movie Colony East neighborhood in Palm Springs. What makes this home unique is that it features an all-aluminum frame, an extremely unusual building material in 1953. Only Albert Frey, in Palm Springs, was known to have used the material in the construction of homes. Aluminum is lightweight, strong, resistant to mold, warping and termite damage.

The Aluminum House features both a front and rear patio area. The orientation of the pool area in the front patio area of the home allows for maximum sun exposure, where you and your guests can get the most of the Palm Springs lifestyle. Catch some rays in one of the two lounge chairs while admiring the remarkable San Jacinto Mountains or simply take a dip in the relaxing pool. The outdoor dining area in the front of the home features an al fresco dining experience for four with the gas grill that is located on the rear patio. In the evenings, relax on the rear patio around the gas fire pit enjoying the quiet surroundings that was created for your outdoor living pleasure.
The home is conveniently located 5 minutes from the airport, downtown shops & restaurants, public and private golf courses, art galleries and nightlife. Palm Springs area activities include world class golf, swimming, hiking, botanical gardens, desert landscape parks, water theme park, aerial tram, tennis, gyms, horseback riding and shopping (high-end outlet mall nearby).
Also enjoy nearby Joshua Tree National Monument (an extraordinary national park set in the desert). Theme parks within two-hour drive include Disneyland (Anaheim) and Sea World (San Diego).
