This historic estate is approximately 5,000 square feet and has a wonderful L-shaped floor plan laid out around a center courtyard that resembles the layout of a Spanish Hacienda.
The entire estate is roofed with hand-made red clay roof tiles and is marked by the prodigious use of smooth plaster walls studded with native rock, chimney finishes and terracotta ornaments. The original casement windows and light fixtures still survive today in this beautiful home.

This historic Palm Springs Spanish style estate was built in 1929 for original owner Rachael Debrabant, who purchased the land in 1927 from physician turned real estate developer Jacob John Kocher. The Estate was later sold to 20th Century Fox and was used to entertain the Hollywood Elite of yesteryear.
Because of its historical and architectural significance, this Palm Springs Spanish Colonial Revival Estate was designated a Class 1 Historic Site by the City of Palm Springs in 2010.

The Kitchen
The kitchen is updated to meet today's expectations, with stainless steel appliances, Monogram range/oven, granite counter-tops, a large island and bar seating for two. Keeping with the Old Spanish style the kitchen has beautiful arches and wonderful use of pleasing warm colors. The kitchen is equipped with plates, glasses, wine glasses, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and much more. It is fully prepared for a relaxing Palm Springs getaway.
The Dining Room
The Spanish style dining room in this Palm Springs vacation rental seats six and is adorned with Spanish inspired elements, from the antique Mexican pottery to the colorful paintings.
The East Wing
Just off the kitchen on the east wing of this Palm Springs Spanish Revival estate for rent is the fourth bedroom known as the chauffeur room. A gracious king bed, a private en-suite bathroom and a private entrance makes this a great room for friends and family.
The Second Floor Private Suite

The Casino Room

The great room in this detached casita has cathedral ceilings with exposed wooden beams and a large wood burning fireplace, which is the largest fireplace known in Palm Springs. The bedroom in the casino room is furnished with a king size bed and museum quality southwestern art and decor.
The casino room was built for former owner Joseph Michael Schenck, a famous Hollywood executive. The casino room has hosted many celebrity studded poker tournaments. Bugsy Segal himself was said to have gambled in this room frequently. If you look closely you may notice a secret look out room located just on top of the casino room that you can still access today from the closet of the casino bedroom.
