The property owners are passionate about 1950s architecture and design, particularly the restoration of Vintage Trailers. They tapped into their love of all things mid-century when they reimagined this old 1951 hipster pad - blending vintage styling with modern technology to create a cool, comfortable and very private Palm Springs escape. Occasionally, the owners will leave a beautifully restored Mid-Mod Airstream or Canned Ham in the backyard for our guests’ enjoyment. Perfect for reenacting a scene from Lucy & Desi’s MGM movie The Long Long Trailer. In true Palm Springs-style, the owners respected the home’s architectural pedigree by preserving the iconic concrete floors, stacked stone, and post & beam ceilings. It shares a bath with Bedroom 2 which has two full-sized beds. Bedroom 3 has a queen-sized bed and direct bath access. All of the bedrooms are uniquely furnished and have a style all their own. THE BACKYARD This home has a happy, comfortable vacation vibe. The back yard is no exception. It is completely walled for privacy and well planned for enjoying sundrenched days by the pool and long evenings under the stars.
